Valerie L. Cole is Lead Trial Attorney at Polansky Law Firm.  Valerie is a criminal defense specialist who, for over a decade, has consistently achieved positive results for her clients.  She is a former Assistant Public Defender in Miami-Dade, Florida and a Deputy Public Defender in both the Montrose and Denver Trial Offices of the Colorado State Public Defender.  Valerie has assisted thousands of people accused of crimes preserve their dignity and freedom against a wide range of criminal allegations including homicide, assaults, sexual assaults, weapons offenses, property crimes and drug and alcohol-related crimes.

Valerie has also represented clients in a variety of appellate matters including postconviction work including reconsideration of sentences and litigation of postconviction claims.

Valerie's practice focuses on serious felonies and complex litigation.  She also serves as a mentor to less experienced associates.
